Tech Central's message to businesses: "Tell us what you want"
Tech Central is looking to expand its range of events for the rest of this year and beyond - and has sent out a call to Coventry and Warwickshire businesses to help inform their programme.
The year 2018 is already set to be a great year of events held by Tech Central, a collaboration of private and public sector organisations created to support businesses within the digital and tech sectors.
Already in the pipeline for this year are collaborations with Warwick Arts Centre, Wellesbourne Innovation Park, HB&O and the Institute of Coding. But Tech Central leaders are looking to curate some more focused events addressing the key issues faced by businesses in the Coventry and Warwickshire region.
Whether companies are looking to adopt new software but don't know where to begin; have heard about the cloud but don't know where it is; or want to move from spreadsheets to accountancy software but have no idea which to choose, these are exactly the type of 'Digital 101' events which Tech Central are looking to organise and collaborate on - they just need to know what businesses want.
Other themes which could be covered include:
- CRM
- Security Systems
- Website Hosting or Management
- Access to Finance
- Accounting Software
- Migrating to Office 365 or G Suite for Business.
But that list is not exclusive. All ideas for subjects of future Tech Central meetings are welcome.
Tech Central co-founder Sarah Windrum said: “Since 2016 Tech Central has brought together some great local businesses, including Baxi Boilers, RNF Digital, and Freestyle Innovation, to collaborate on innovative new projects. Now we really want to engage with more businesses who need practical support to adopt the best technology into their day-to-day operations.
"Our next event at Coventry University in conjunction with HB&O will help them do just that and could also inject cash back into their business in the process.”
