Roadshows ready for north and south

“The sessions will offer guidance on how to visually attract footfall to stores and venues and also how to create a buzz through engaging events that offer a great showcase of what you have to offer.

Workshops in the north and south of Warwickshire will offer businesses on the high street a range of tips to help them drive footfall, build loyalty and grow. 

Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce’s business support team will be delivering High Street Roadshows in Atherstone and Stratford-upon-Avon on behalf of Warwickshire County Council. 

They will offer inspiration and practical tips on how to increase footfall and sales with expert advice on marketing and social media, included a presentation from Kim Hulse, a consultant to retailers and small businesses. 

The first will take place at North Warwickshire Museum and Community Hub on Tuesday, February 24 at 8am. 

That will be followed by an event at Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall on Tuesday, March 3 at 8am. 

They follow on from events in Warwick and Nuneaton in 2025 which proved to be extremely popular, receiving excellent feedback from those in attendance. 

The roadshow is part of the Project Warwickshire Business Support Programme, which the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce deliver on behalf of Warwickshire County Council and forms part of the Business Growth Warwickshire programme. It is funded by UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Warwickshire County Council 

Sarah Humphreys, Business Support Manager at Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “Our roadshow was really well attended in 2025 so we are delighted to take the event to the north and south of the county so that more businesses can benefit from the advice on offer. They will help businesses on the high street in those areas to unlock the secrets to driving footfall and building loyalty among customers by becoming a destination that customers love. 

“The sessions will offer guidance on how to visually attract footfall to stores and venues and also how to create a buzz through engaging events that offer a great showcase of what you have to offer. It will also look at the basics of how to deliver exceptional customer service which builds loyalty and also how to capture valuable customer data to enable repeat business. 

“Ultimately, businesses want to develop a consistent brand that delivers memorable experiences that has customers coming back again and again and this roadshow is the perfect starting to point to do that.”
