WARWICKSHIRE MEANS BUSINESS

Welcome from Cllr Rob Howard

Hello and welcome to the January edition of Warwickshire Means Business.

In this month's information-packed round-up of support available, we tell the stories of how more businesses throughout the country have benefited from the various support programmes delivered by Warwickshire County Council and our partners across the county and region.

We hear how the Business Start-Up Support Programme has enabled a great idea to be turned into the reality of an outlet in Warwick, and a Nuneaton bakery to grow to the point where it is recruiting. Many businesses have benefited from Project Warwickshire support in recent years and we hear from two of the latest – a wild swimming enterprise in Burton Hastings and a fitness business in Kenilworth.

Advice and support is available to you wherever you are in the county and the High Street Roadshow will be out and about again in the coming weeks with events in the north, at Atherstone, and the south, at Stratford-upon-Avon. We also report on the completion of the Concept Masterplan for the transformation of Leamington town centre while rural businesses in the south of the county are engaging more and more with the increasingly influential Rural Enterprise Hub.

It is good to report some encouraging news from the most recent Quarterly Economic Survey and, as always, we bring the most comprehensive round-ups of the latest Upcoming Events and News-in-Brief from the around the county. All our articles have all the relevant links, so please do get in touch if any of the programmes could help your business.
