Corporate volunteering at Country Parks
“This is the second time our team have spent a day at Ryton Pools, and we have very much appreciated the opportunity. We’ve particularly enjoyed how welcome and involved we’ve felt.”
Businesses looking to boost team spirit and morale through a rewarding away day are encouraged to take part in corporate volunteering at Warwickshire Country Parks.
From habitat management and conservation tasks to practical maintenance projects, corporate volunteering supports the ongoing care of Warwickshire’s much-loved green spaces. Activities take place at all of the five country parks and are adapted to the group size and location.
Corporate volunteering days are carefully planned and led by experienced rangers, ensuring teams can get stuck in safely while contributing to meaningful work that benefits wildlife and park visitors.
For businesses, the benefits go beyond corporate social responsibility. Volunteering days provide an opportunity for staff to step away from the workplace, build stronger relationships, and learn new skills in a relaxed, outdoor setting. Many organisations also find it supports wellbeing and pride in helping their local community.
Feedback from some of recent groups who volunteered at Warwickshire’s country parks includes:
“I really enjoyed it, and it was actually great being out in the fresh air for the day.”
“Thanks to Tom, Lee and the rangers for hosting us, guiding us and providing tea!”
