A milestone for green skills and innovation

Stratford upon Avon College recently opened their new Electric Vehicle (EV) Training and Innovation Centre Workshop.

This cutting-edge facility marks a major step forward in sustainable transport and future-focused skills development.

With growing demand for electric vehicles in the industry, the facility will allow the Motor Vehicle team to upskill students and give them the knowledge to succeed in the changing industry landscape.

The project was funded by Stratford District Council who awarded the College £625,000 in 2024 as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). 

This investment is helping to power the next generation of green talent and look to the future as electric vehicles grow within the automotive market.

The future of mobility is electric—and it’s being built right here in Stratford-upon-Avon.
