Revenues top £1bn at Aston Martin
Revenues surged by 25 per cent to a record level of almost £1.1bn at luxury car maker Aston Martin during its latest financial year. However, the company reported a pre-tax loss due to the costs associated with its London Stock Exchange float almost five months ago.

First look at light rail vehicle
A first look at a light rail vehicle for Coventry City Council, designed by engineers at WMG, University of Warwick, has been revealed.
Engineers and researchers are working alongside Transport Design International (TDI), based in Stratford, to develop a battery-powered, lightweight, rail-based vehicle to operate in Coventry.

Go Ape set for April opening
Go Ape is set to open a new attraction in Warwickshire next month.
Work is continuing at Coombe Abbey after planning permission was granted in December 2018.The attraction, which will be based in the park, will feature The Plummet, a 12-metre free-fall vertical drop, a dual Tarzan Swing and a 200m double zip course finale.

Homes England news ‘A MIPIM Highlight’
The news that Coventry could be the national centre for Homes England was the “outstanding announcement of the week” in the Midlands UK Pavilion. Homes England chairman Sir Edward Lister, Coventry City Council chief executive Martin Reeves and West Midlands Mayor Andy Street made the announcement which could result in hundreds of jobs being created in Coventry.
