Increasing number of young females training up at BMW
BMW Group Plant Hams Hall, in North Warwickshire, has reported an increasing number of young females successfully coming through their recruitment process.
The company is currently looking for more apprentices to join its latest generation working on engines for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the Hams Hall plant offers great opportunities to kick-start a career and earn while completing fully funded qualifications.
“We look forward to receiving a number of applications for our 2025 apprenticeships,” says Carol Maison, apprentice training specialist. “While our training programmes are open to all, in recent years it’s been great to see an increasing number of young females successfully coming through our recruitment process and starting apprenticeships at our Hams Hall plant. Last year almost half of the apprentices joining technical training programmes were female, something we are keen to encourage again for this year and going forward.”
Recruitment for 2025 apprenticeships is open now with engineering and maintenance apprentice opportunities at Plant Hams Hall. Anyone joining a BMW Group apprenticeship can expect exciting and varied work and will receive on-the-job training, learning from world-leading experts. A raft of further apprenticeship opportunities exist at various other BMW Group locations around the UK, at Oxford, Swindon, Goodwood and Farnborough.
