A plan to transform Nuneaton town centre has been given a £1.5m boost. Warwickshire County Council has agreed in principle to contribute the funds to support the purchase by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council (NBBC) of the town centre's Co-operative building, as part of the Transforming Nuneaton (TN) programme.

Indian snack food manufacturer Cofresh has invested £8.1m in acquiring a site in Warwickshire. The 130,508 sq ft building at Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate, Nuneaton had previously been vacant.
