WARWICKSHIRE MEANS BUSINESS

Cheryl bringing her expertise to bear at Armstrongs

A former member of Warwickshire County Council's Economy & Skills team has been appointed to a key role at expanding Coventry and Nuneaton-based chartered accountants Armstrong's.

Cheryl Stanley has over six years’ experience working in the accountancy sector and now heads up Armstrong's’ new business development division.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Cheryl will look after the firm’s internal and external marketing and provide business growth support to clients and local business connections.

Cheryl’s knowledge of helping firms to grow began when she worked within the council's Economic Development department, delivering inward investment and business support services in 2006.

Along with a new department, Armstrongs has recently rebranded, launching a new website to provide information on its services and how its team can help businesses grow.

Paul Farmer, director, said: “2018 has been an exciting year for Armstrongs. The new identity and website have given us a fantastic platform from which to operate at a regional and national level. Our firm has grown considerably over the last few years, so the timing was right to take it to the next level and we are delighted to welcome Cheryl on board to help us achieve this.”

Cheryl commented: "I am excited to have joined the Armstrongs team and looking forward to being part of the Armstrongs journey moving forward."
