WARWICKSHIRE MEANS BUSINESS

Rural Enterprise Hub builds momentum

The Rural Enterprise Hub (REH) has made a strong start following its expansion into South Warwickshire, building connections and supporting rural businesses during its first three months of activity.

Since expanding into the area, the REH has focused on raising awareness of free, fully funded business support by actively engaging with local networks, business groups and rural organisations. Activities have included participating in The Neighbourhood Networking at Stoneleigh, Farming Health events, Business Buzz, Talk Business, and LAMMA 2026 at the NEC, alongside regular involvement with local business clubs in Southam, Alcester, Studley and Henley-in-Arden.

The Hub has strengthened key partnerships with The Neighbourhood Network, the Warwickshire Rural Hub, Southam Business Community CIC, Shipston-on-Stour Business Group and Shipston Town Council.

The REH is also working closely with the Coventry & Warwickshire Growth Hub, Warwickshire Skills Hub, and Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to provide joined-up business support across the region.

Direct business engagement has been a priority, with successful drop-in sessions held in November and January. Further drop-ins are planned at Minerva Mill and Shipston-on-Stour Council Offices, with opportunities in Southam currently being explored to widen access to local business support.

Looking ahead, the REH has a busy programme planned for February and March. This includes presentations to Southam Business Community CIC and The Neighbourhood Network, attendance at events such as the Stratford Business Conference, Alcester Business Club, Studley in Business, RABI Breakfasts, Bidford Networking and Farming Health events, as well as hosting further REH drop-in sessions. This also includes attending the Stratford High Street Roadshow at Stratford Town Hall and Inclusive Employment activity through the Warwickshire Skills Hub.

Three months in, the Rural Enterprise Hub is firmly embedded within South Warwickshire, providing accessible, place-based support and building strong foundations for continued rural business growth.
